Workwise, this role will:
- Provide sound advice and support to the Chief Finance Officer and Executive Management regarding contract procurement and monitoring matters
- To be part of a team that actively contributes to patient safety by following policies, procedures and protocols of the North West Hospital and Health Service
- To support continued improvement of health services by always participating in quality improvement opportunities to excel in patient safety by active contribution to a framework of sound clinical governance.
Mandatory/Other requirements:
- Nil, however a relevant degree in Business, Law, Commerce or similar field will be well regarded.
- Experience in procurement, tendering and contract management in a large, diverse and complex organisation will be well regarded.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate; this may include criminal history checks and Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role compliance.
- VPD risk roles may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and COVID-19.
- A 3-month period of probation may apply.
