Good Constructions
Good Constructions was established by Jolyon and Jayne Good in 1995. For over 25 years, we have specialised in building and renovating high-end custom homes and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Our experience building high-end architectural homes has given us a solid foundation on which to build our Retirement Living business. The Good Constructions team has built up the technical expertise learned from complex buildings and managing large, multifaceted projects. We began working with retirement living operators and managers in 2015. This is now the sole focus of our business, which operates throughout Victoria and NSW Mid North Coast and Adelaide.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage relationships with existing clients and stakeholders. Ongoing communication with the client and village team regarding feedback.
- Support the Capex team members by obtaining permits, service connections, and other ad hoc administration to ensure the project runs on time and within budget.
- Coordinate key relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage Capex Workflow and maintain reporting software in SimPro as directed by the line manager.
- Provide reporting to the Capex team and Senior Management.
- Prepare progress invoices and supporting documentation.
- Participate in the tender process (Design, Review and Submission).
- Communicate defects at the handover of the project to the project team and ensure that they are closed out within the KPI timeframe.
Key Selection Criteria
- Excellent customer relations and account management skills.
- Knowledge and background of construction processes.
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling.
- Able to identify errors and omissions to ensure projects comply with the client's scope.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to address project challenges.
- Understand local building codes, permits, and regulations.
- Strong computer and related software skills
