The Role & Business
Working as a Contracts Administrator, you will be reporting to the project managers, general manager and the Director. You will have the opportunity to have a clear route into project management if you desire and to make the position your own as the business grows. With emphasis on personal service, dedication, professionalism, and hard work.
You will be working on a range of Commercial Glazing - aluminium window and door projects within the Brisbane and Gold Coast area. As a CA, you will be involved in all post-contract award decisions and procedures from procurement, design, drafting and letting installation subcontracts, management of RFI's, variations and EOM progress claims.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and practices.
- A understanding of Commercial Glazing & aluminium windows and doors.
- Excellent communication.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/ different workloads.
- You will have a minimum of 3 year industry experience.
- Your key drivers will be about wanting to be part of something and work with professional people whilst building quality projects
- You will have worked previously with a wide range of construction software.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise within a busy, deadline driven environment.
- An efficient trouble shooter, problem solver and able to think on your feet.
- Possessing a can do' attitude and a nature that does not get frustrated easily.
- Excellent customer service skills - ability to engage with clients both face to face and by phone/email
