The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administratorwho has a strong understanding of commercial construction contracts, as well as experience in managing and administering contracts for multi-million-dollar projects across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and submit contractual notices within the required timeframes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to finalize contract terms and conditions.
- Identify and assist project teams with commercial and contractual claims
- Compile head contract progress claims and reports
- Assist with project cost reporting and forecasting
- Prepare head contract deliverables
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Evaluate and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on contract-related matters.
What you will need:
- 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in civil construction
- Qualifications in either engineering, quantity surveying, finance, accounting, legal or business discipline highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts
- Proficiency in assessing contractual claims and variations
- Experience leading commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Experience and understanding of contract management / administration in Construction projects.
