CSA Mine is seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to join our team. This role places you right in the heart of one of the world’s most acclaimed mining areas, which boasts the nations second-highest grade copper mine. Your contributions will be key in maintaining the exceptional standards of this globally renowned mining region.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Drafting contract tender packages to gain competitive pricing from suppliers/subcontractors
- Review contracts, highlighting costs and scope variances
- Develop and maintain all requirements for site access for contracting firms (insurances and business systems)
- Ensure all supply and contracts procedures and CSA site procedures are followed
- Review contract process and policies for continual improvement
- Supporting internal stakeholders with contract procedures, and general administration of contracts to maintain a professional standard of work
- Maintain accurate contract register and system to flag necessary reviews and renewals

About you:
- Demonstrate your understanding of procurement and contract facilitation in mining necessary to achieve the confident and rapport in dealing with internal stakeholders
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with SAP (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
Conditions
This position is offered on a residential or drive in drive out (DIDO) or fly in fly out (FIFO) from Sydney or Brisbane on a 5/2 4/3 roster. However, other roster patterns can be discussed for the right candidate. If residential is the preferred commute option, relocation costs and a housing subsidy will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar. Candidates interested in the DIDO or FIFO will be provided with commute single accommodation and meals at the mine camp. CSA also provides Pool & Gym Reimbursements to our employees and their dependants.

Located an eight-hour drive to Sydney, nine-hour drive to Melbourne, and a quick three-hour drive to Dubbo, Cobar is a fascinating town rich in mining heritage and natural attractions.
