About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are seeking an experienced Contracts Business Partnerto join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will lead and manage contracts, optimise value, and ensure compliance with legislative standards.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Degree qualifications in Business, Business Law (or associated discipline) or relevant professional experience.
- Experience in contract management, ideally in local government.
- Strong risk management and financial monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of legislative requirements.
On a typical day this role will:
- Develop and execute contract management plans and sourcing strategies.
- Manage a variety of contracts for goods, services, and works.
- Identify and mitigate commercial, financial, and operational risks.
- Provide expert advice on contract management and dispute resolution.
- Monitor contract performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and environmental standards.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Temporary (2 years) 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $115,335 to $129,816 depending on skills & experience
