Your new role
As a Contracts Manager, you will take charge of the management and maintenance of contracts and agreements while assisting with the development and creation of new agreements to achieve and deliver key commercial outcomes. The role is responsible for providing contractual advice and ensuring the delivery and day to day management of objectives under such contracts. You will proactively work with relevant stakeholders to maximise safety, mitigate risk as well as ensure the financial and operational performance of various contracts within the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Substantial experience in the development and management of contracts and agreements including:
- understanding of procurement and contract management processes and contract management systems,
- using information sources and ensuring appropriate contract governance is set up that contributes to driving the right behaviour and outcomes,
- proactive risk management to identify and manage current and potential new risks,
- conceptual and strategic problem-solving skills and experience,
- experience in financial analysis and reporting
