Due to recent growth and upcoming projects, Evolution has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Traffic Management Designer to join our team of Designers to efficiently increase turnaround times and strengthen our team’s delivery around Perth / Western Australia.
Evolution will support you keeping your qualifications current and upskilling if/where required,. Some of your responsibilities are:
The focus of your role will be supporting clients with their projects and enquiries regarding “temporary traffic management”. Ensuring a client focused approach for the safe and efficient delivery of their project from beginning to end.
You will coordinate and update their requirements to Evolution departments and provide regular updates to your allocated clients. You will also work with our team of experienced planners to develop the Traffic Management Plans to meet the works requirement.
In short you will be a proactive, knowledgeable Permits Administrator recognised for your strong knowledge of Perth and WA road permit processes and ability to work unsupervised to meet our client’s needs.
This is a fixed term contract of 12 Months initially with potential to extend.
About the role:
Based in our Perth Depot at Welshpool, you will be a part of the team responsible for the day-to-day design and processing of Traffic Plans and Permits for our various clients across Western Australia. Liaising with internal and external Traffic Designers, you will provide focus, continuity and guidance in regard to permits processes and timeframes across traffic management projects with a mix of government and private clients.
In this role you will:
- Use solid technical knowledge and expertise in consulting with and advising clients throughout their project duration.
- Provide guidance, training, motivation, and direction to staff members.
- Contribute to a high performing, motivated team, fostering a culture of quality and client care in all facets of their project life cycle by providing developmental support and guidance and encouraging and promoting knowledge sharing within the team and in the wider organisation to build internal expertise, skills, and capacity
Profile for Success:
- Recognized AWTM (Advanced Worksite Traffic Management) accreditation.
- Minimum 5 Years Traffic management experience.
- Previous experience working in a consultancy environment, with a depth of knowledge in traffic management planning including complex traffic impact assessments, design (CAD and/or RapidPLAN), traffic management and construction planning projects.
- High Understanding of processes for submission of permit applications to Local & State Authorities, RTM Endorsements.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills
- High understanding of safety management systems, practices & procedures.
- OHS Construction white card.
- Current driver's license.
