We administer a property fund that specialises in purchasing, developing and reselling residential/commercial properties. Currently we are looking for a Conveyancer who will have the overall responsibility for the entire transactional process of the properties acquired by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening, closing and managing residential and commercial conveyancing files
• Preparation of sale and auction contracts, section 32 statements, transfer of land contracts and caveats
• Liaising with external parties including real estate agents and other law firms
• Advising on a wide range of property-related matters, including property transactions and development projects.
• Conducting due diligence on property transactions, including reviewing contracts and conducting title searches.
• Providing legal advice in relation to tax and stamp duty matters.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in property law and providing advice accordingly.
• Consulting with team optimum sales strategies for clients and delivering files for them.
• Working with potential end customers to make their purchasing process seamless and less cumbersome.

Requirements:

• A licensed conveyancer in Victoria with over 5 years of experience or a lawyer specialising in property law
• Experience handling conveyancing files from start to finish
• Ability to handle trust accounts
• Conversant in PEXA
• Strong understanding of property law and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
