AddressConveyancer (Temporary)
Seeking an experienced Conveyancer for an ongoing assignment, with the potential for increased hours and responsibility, for the right candidate.
- Malvern Location.
- Part-Time, Flexible, 15-20 hours per week, NOT Wednesdays.
- $35 - $45 per hour + Superannuation.
The Firm:
Based in the South-East suburbs, providing a wide range of cost-effective legal services to a diverse range of clients from property law, to family law to estates.
About the Role:
Full carriage of files - end to end residential conveyancing.
In this role you will:
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
- Manage conveyancing files from start to finish.
- Complete searches.
- Apply for certificates.
- Complete VOIs.
- Draft and review contracts, S32s, transfers, S27s, statement of adjustments, settlement statements etc.
- Draft correspondence necessary to finalise matters.
- Complete Duties Online form and GST forms.
- Arrange and attend settlements via PEXA, generate PEXA workspaces.
- Final reporting to client, settlement statement and close file.
About You:
- You MUST have previous experience in a law firm or a conveyancing practice.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Highly organised with good time management and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient using Leap software, Pexa, Duties Online.
- Detail oriented.
