Head Conveyancer

Woods & Co is seeking an experienced Head Conveyancer to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and facilitating property transactions, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough title searches to verify legal ownership and identify any encumbrances or issues that may affect the transaction.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and settlement statements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal paperwork related to property transactions.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved.
• Schedule and attend settlement meetings, ensuring all documents have been prepared.
• Oversee the settlement process and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the conveyancing process.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
• Experience using PEXA.
• Licensed Conveyancer with appropriate licensing.
• Proven experience as a conveyancer with a successful track record.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools.
