Woods & Co is seeking an experienced Head Conveyancer to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and facilitating property transactions, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

- Conduct thorough title searches to verify legal ownership and identify any encumbrances or issues that may affect the transaction.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and settlement statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal paperwork related to property transactions.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved.
- Schedule and attend settlement meetings, ensuring all documents have been prepared.
- Oversee the settlement process and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the conveyancing process.
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- Experience using PEXA.
- Licensed Conveyancer with appropriate licensing.
- Proven experience as a conveyancer with a successful track record.
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools.
