Caval Ridge Mine is situated in the northern section of the Bowen Basin, approximately 6km south-east of Moranbah and 160km south-west of Mackay.We are looking for an experienced Contracts Coordinator that will be responsible for the application of the Contractor Management Framework (CMF). You will engage with our contract partners that perform work on site and fulfil the duties and obligations as outlined in the CMF. Accountable for contractor compliance, the maintenance contracts team deliver work-ready contractor resources into the execution teams where mutually beneficial relationships are fostered. We monitor, mentor and collaborate with customers, suppliers and stakeholders for improved safety and performance outcomes.This position offers FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns on a 4:3 Roster.Core accountabilities:Maintain currency of appointment and ensure all vendors engaged at site are owned and managed according to the CMFDevelop, complete and maintain work scopes, risk assessments and CMS documentationEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and site representativesMonitor, support and audit operational activitiesNominate as Contract/Vendor Owner for any contract partner engagements that fall within allocated work area and complete formal appointmentForecasting, analysis and project planning to ensure optimal outcomesAdvise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partnersActively participate in tender processActively participate in contract renewal and variation processes where requiredManage the Contract Execution Plan Cultural Plan and Partnership RoutinesCoordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/SuperintendentsCoordinate any change in contract partner work scopes, including completion of any changes to supporting documentation and processesIdentify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvementsAbout YouProficient in MS Office suite, Documentum, Tempo, SharePoint, and SAP/FioriAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both autonomously and part of a team in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholdersAbility to network across the business to leverage consistency and improve CMF processesAbility to mentor and coach peers and execution teams to create intrinsic motivation for improved outcomesAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
