Coordinator / Educators

We are hiring a Coordinator, and Educators for our brand new service - Kidz Mob Childers OSHC!

The service will be opening 15th April 2024. 

We are an Indigenous family and community focused childcare business striving to nurture the next generation. Our partners have a strong passion to improve the quality of Outside School Hours Care services in Southeast Queensland. 

At Kidz Mob we provide high quality inclusive care for before school, after school, and vacation care. The service will be licenced for 60 children for per session.

• A competitive hourly rate of $28.30 to $42.00 depending on qualifications and experience plus split shift and uniform allowances.

We are seeking Educators will the following qualities/qualifications; 

• Desire to succeed in a supportive workplace 
• Passion for working with children and families to create a supportive and fun environment
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Diploma in Children Services, ACECQA 2 year approved qualifications for working in OSHC (can assist you to find out if your qualification is approved (eg. nursing, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, social work, primary/secondary teacher)) or working towards (desirable but not required)
• Experience in OSHC is desirable but not required

We are seeking a Coordinator with the following qualities/qualifications;

• Diploma of School Aged Education and Care, or another relevant Diploma or higher.
• At least 2 years’ experience working as an Outside School Hours Care Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, or the equivalent in Early Childhood is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for providing high quality, safe inclusive care to school aged children.
• Extensive knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework.
• Proven experience and knowledge of Inclusive practices, and behaviour guidance.
