About the Role
The position is responsible for providing leadership to the Facility Management team as well as the planning, programming, monitoring and coordinate maintenance works across the Shire’s 1000 facilities to ensure that the facilities are fit for purpose, safe, maintained in a manner which provides value for money and meet all legislative requirements.
Reporting to the Team Leader Buildings Management the core responsibilities include:
Lead a team of 8 that support the works planning, inspections, and contract management for facility maintenance.
Be accountable for up to 15 maintenance contracts with an annual value of approximately $15m.
Work with the Asset Management Team to ensure maintenance programs align with asset data.
Be responsible for the facility inspection program.
About You
Qualifications in OHS, Building, Facility Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Business, or related discipline, or significant practical experience in these fields.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role is required.
Local or state government experience preferred.
Leadership experience of large teams is preferred.
Understanding of financial monitoring, reporting and interpretation.
