As our Coordinator ICT Projects, you’ll plan, develop, engage and deliver quality project management across all aspects of the City’s ICT services. This role provides a great range of opportunities from software, hardware, CCTV and redesign projects to keep you full filled in this ever changing role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for leading a customer focused Service Delivery function to deliver reliable and innovative technology solutions across the City;
- Liaising with the Manager ICT, business stake holders, venders and Executive leadership team to deliver start to finish quality project management;
- Ensure effective communication across the organisation;
- Develop and Deliver training in line with project scopes to ensure effective organisational buy in and understanding;
- Ensure change management is adhered too and reviewed regularly;
- Assist in the preparation and management of the ICT budget;
- Publish, maintain and review all associated processes and procedures;
- Adhere to all City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder policies and procedures, and ensure personal safety at work and that of others;
- Other accountabilities and responsibilities as directed by the Manager Information Communication and Technology

Who we are Looking for:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to develop and implement a variety of procedures, documentation and staff communications.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external customers at all levels including other government agencies, contractors and suppliers.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated editing and proofreading skills.
- Understanding of the importance of data integrity issues and implications of integrity errors;
- Working autonomously;
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to Information Technology / Computer Science or a similar discipline or equivalent industry experience with at least three (3) years’ work / practical experience in a network and systems administration role
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to Change management or Project Management a similar discipline or equivalent industry experience with at least three (3) years’ work / practical experience in a project management role.
- High level communication skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills including ability to liaise effectively and confidently with internal and external customers and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients and/or business units and external stakeholders;
- Strong administrative, planning and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, to deadlines;
- Strong team player with proven ability to work autonomously with initiative, forward thinking and capacity to solve problems and make decisions;
- Strong understanding of Information Technology;
- Current satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Current WA “C” Class driver’s license

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position ranges between $107,067 and $114,983
