About the Role:
Bring together your technical know-how in minerals testing and a passion for efficient laboratory operations as a Minesite Projects Coordinator at Intertek. Based in their Minerals Global Centre for Excellence, a state-of-the-art facility focused on testing and innovation, you'll be at the heart of an evolving industry.
The role involves planning all aspects of on-site laboratories for customers, creating submissions/proposals for tender, and working closely with customers from enquiry to end point. As part of a global business line, you will work on opportunities across Australasia as well as further afield, allowing you to leverage your skills and develop in unique ways.
What you need to succeed:
The following are must haves to be successful in the role:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Science
- Extensive experience in minerals laboratories, including experience in leadership roles
- Strong technical background in scientific techniques and testing relevant to the industry
- Knowledge of laboratory best practice (such as ISO 17025/ ISO 45001)
Though not essential, a knowledge of laboratory costings and proposal/bid review would be beneficial.
