Coordinator Learning & Development
Hours: 38 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Development Lead to join our team on a temporary basis (until June 15th). In this crucial role, you will play a lead role in developing and supporting our staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their positions and achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team to deliver exceptional service and meet the organization’s learning and development needs.
- Oversee the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinate the creation and implementation of training programs.
- Identify training needs through various methods and ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge to comply with relevant legislative frameworks.
- Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, promoting career progression within the organization.
- Build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders, actively listening to their needs and ensuring training programs align with both individual and organizational goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Training and Development, Education, Leadership, Management, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in managing training programs, including their development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines effectively, and work independently while also collaborating with colleagues.
Licenses / Tickets Required:
- Police Check
- ‘C’ Class Unrestricted Manual Driver’s License
- Working with Children Blue Card
Pre-Employment Medical Required:
