- Lead the team to operate the production processes and equipment safely and in accordance with the production schedule, process specifications and the Operation's technical standards.
- Provide input into production strategies, budgets, and plans as well as the improvement of work management processes and critical controls for material risks.
- Provide input to the production day, week and monthly planning and scheduling horizon process and ensure all work is achievable and aligned.
- Drive solutions to resolve systemic problems in process, technical and people support capabilities to improve overall results for maintenance and care of asset.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and the ability to form effective working relationships.
- Exceptional safety leadership with the ability to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels including internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in a production mining area with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
- Detail knowledge of procedures relating to the operation of production equipment is required.
- Demonstrated Capability to successfully lead a team and influence others.
- Completion of a Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate;
- Qualifications in a mining related discipline.
