An exciting opportunity has become available for a Floral Product Designer, to work within the State Sales & Product Team to assist in the areas of product innovation, design and administration, cost and promotion of product range offers across the business.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this role would suit a confident self-starter, who has sound floral design skills with creative flair, and an excellent communicator with solid skills in administrative duties.
About the role:
- Assist within all areas of creation, cost & photography of product ranges across all brands, customers & promotions.
- Organise and follow up componentry samples and mock ups.
- Assist with the organisation & delivery of production training sessions for new product assembly.
- Administration of promotional opportunity lines internally and externally.
- Check and maintain the product specification sheets.
- Cost new Floral Products in line with budget expectations.
- Assist in the development new product concepts and designs.
- Photography and editing of photos and archiving of work.
- Ad hoc projects as directed by management.
- Manage stock and presentation of design office.
About you:
- Floristry certification of grade III or equivalent, or currently undertaking training and/or education in floral varieties & design.
- Previous experience within an administrative capacity.
- Sound computer literacy, particularly with excel, word, outlook & power point.
- Flair for creativity, with an eye for detail.
- Familiar with photo editing software & digital photos.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to focus on results with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Excellent problem solving, organisational & prioritisation skills with the ability to manage change effectively.
