Qualifications & experience
- Supply Chain Qualification
- Experience in production - welding + coating
- Have managed production in the past and have strong commercial experience
- Customer and supplier negotiation and communication
- Operations and logistics experience along with mechanical aptitude
- Experience with ERP systems similar to Netsuite
- Great computer skills
- Able to get stuff done
- A-level people skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Attend Project Handover
- Establish Project Plan/ Timeline and Key Rocks
- Hold technical/information gathering discussions with the customer
- Coordinating with Engineering team to finalize product design/specifications
- Completing technical RFQs and Purchasing to local and overseas vendors ensuring all costs kept within budget
- Timely production and schedule expediting including with sub-contractor components
- Sub-contractor bookings and delivery coordination
- Transport and logistics bookings and warehouse resource coordination
- Constant customer and sales team communication
