Elevate your career as a senior civil engineer by showcasing your leadership skills in guiding our esteemed Technical Services team of four indivudals, and overseeing, civil infrastructure assets including roads, stormwater, traffic control devices, footpaths, bridges, public lighting and bus stop infrastructure. You will provide advice and guidance pertaining to technical service matters, budgeting, and business planning to the Manager Technical & Engineering Services, Executive Leadership Team and Councils Elected Members.
Key responsibilities:
- Top-Tier Leadership: You're not just a people and work coordinator; you're a visionary Team Leader, setting the bar high across the organisation.
- Development Framework: Leading the creation of forward works, capital work programs as well as designing and conceptualising plans.
- Strategic Thinker: Crafting strategies and techniques for the provision and renewal of civil infrastructure assets, including roads, stormwater, traffic control devices, footpaths, bridges, public lighting and bus stop infrastructure.
- The Architect of Planning: Managing the planning, control, development and execution of transport and traffic management programs and activities.
- The Design Expert: Creating design drawings, specifications and essential documentation, tailored for contracting to both external and internal service providers.
- Community Engagement Specialist: Facilitating communication and collaboration with residents and internal stakeholders to identify and address infrastructure concerns through effective problem – solving.
To be successful you will have Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and willingness to undertake a DHS General Employment Probity and pre-employment medical.

Salary range is between $109,599 and $120,000 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
