About The Role
The Corporate Accountant will perform a pivotal role in the Pro-invest Group finance team, supporting the current and future growth of the Group. You will work closely with the Financial Controller, Financial Accountants and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. What your day will look like
In this role, you will be responsible for managing employment entities, navigating complex cost allocations, systems administrator for Concur and Corporate Traveller platforms and preparation of 3 managed accounts. You will ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all our accounting tasks, analyse the economic stability of the companies and provide financial information to ensure compliance and enable other departments to make budgeting and investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Month-end corporate entities duties including Bank Reconciliation Reports, prepare balance sheet reconciliations & prepare profit and loss analyses per department
- Set up new fixed assets and run depreciation for the relevant entities
- Ensure all payroll journals have been recorded for the month
- Concur expense claims reviewing and coding
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems
- Reconcile PAYG and GST with supporting documentation, cleared in the GL
- Ensure lodgments with the ATO and Inland Revenue are made accurately and on time
- Overseeing and adhering to the compliance, financial controls, policies, and governance
- Collaborating with other teams in the Group to work on various accounting projects
You will bring
- Deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Experience in NetSuite is preferable
- 3 + year plus experience within an audit, finance, analytical and/or management reporting team environment
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed with the willingness to work as part of a high-performance team
