The A/NZ Financial Institutions Group ("FIG") is looking for an Analyst / Associate with FIG Corporate Advisory (or related) experience to join the team in Sydney.
The A/NZ FIG team advises corporate clients across the FIG spectrum, such as banks, non-bank lenders, insurers, insurance brokers, wealth and asset managers, market structure players, as well as financial technology companies. We provide our clients with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of Corporate Advisory products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance and risk management/hedging.
Our analysts and associates play an important role in developing and strengthening the team relationships with its clients, actively taking part in our advisory teams and in executing a full range of transactions. You will gain exposure and work as part of the firm's global FIG team, with opportunities to work with off-shore colleagues and the possibility of being selected for our Global Mobility Program that will allow you to rotate to our offices in New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore etc.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 1-5 years of corporate finance / Corporate Advisory (or related) experience, ideally in FIG
- Strong analytical skills across quantitative and technical abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with positive attitude, strong work ethic and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Drive and enthusiasm in adapting to a variety of FIG and FinTech sub-sectors and businesses
- Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
- Candidate must have completed an undergraduate degree
