Led by our new Executive Director – Marketing and Fundraising, Canteen’s invigorated approach to fundraising opens up a breadth of new opportunities for aspirational and experienced fundraisers alike. We’re all about enabling you to shine, by bringing your skills, expertise and energy to contribute to a team that helps Canteen make a difference in the lives of young people impacted by cancer every day.

  • Engage in new business development initiatives that support the Business Development team in the acquisition of new partners. Manage the development, design, and distribution of marketing and communication materials, presentations, and partner impact reports.
  • Support the contract review process and execution of new business and renewals.
  • Coordinate the organization's existing workplace giving partners.

About You

  • Proven experience, ideally 3+ years in managing Corporate Partnerships with a focus on maintaining relationships and delivering on successful partnership agreements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business development requirements to secure new partnerships
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, invoices and impact reporting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to details, data handling and database process (entry and reporting).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience working with events in person and online.
  • Excellent people skills and genuinely driven to support a healthy team culture.
  • A compassionate values-based approach and genuine desire to grow those in your team and around you.

*Due to the nature of Canteen’s work, you will be required to (very) occasionally work weekends and evenings. Advance notice will be given when this is the case, and Canteen does have a Time off in Lieu policy for taking leave as agreed with the supervising manager.
