The Corporate Procurement Manager role has been created as a result of exciting new projects and strategic growth within our Australia and Asia-Pacific businesses. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will interface closely with Executive Management and the Pre-Contracts team, while also providing high level support to projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring adherence to the company's policies, code of ethics and anti-corruption procedures, expected behaviours and Project Execution Plans.
- Implement, update and improve systems and procedures as required
- Manage and mentor a team of Project Procurement Managers and Procurement Officers
- Provide support to the Pre-contracts team on major bids
- Develop project-specific solutions (post award) including building the team to be passed on to the project
- Develop Material Control and Inventory Management Systems
- Extensive Procurement experience within a Civil Construction contracting environment
- In depth exposure to pipeline, utilities or heavy industrial construction projects
- Ability to mentor, develop and manage a team
- Ability to adapt to different regulative environments across Australia and abroad
- A very high level of analytical Reporting
- Practical experience using an ERP system
