Growth over the past 20 years has been significant, and now ADIG is the largest non-metropolitan Catholic Development Fund (CDF) in Australia.The RoleReporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role will provide essential support to ensure the smooth functioning of corporate governance, risk and compliance processes.Your day to day duties will include, but will not be limited to:Undertake and/or provide assistance in the Risk Management and compliance activities of the businessPerform initial draft review and updating of policies prior to management reviewMaintaining policy, risk and compliance registersProviding Internal Assurance functions over; controls, processes and procedures. These will work in parallel to the Internal Audit functions to be reported to management and the Board Audit Committee as required.
- Assisting in implementing and ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations;
- Overseeing document control, templates, and digital record-keeping;
- Assisting in the support and coordination of risk and compliance functions, including supporting risk management routines and administering activity on the Compliance Register and other governance registers;
- Providing assistance with risk and compliance elements of investment operations;
- Overseeing the upkeep of the policy and procedure suite, managing document control procedures, and facilitating policy compliance control testing.
- Previous experience working in a similar role;
- Qualifications in governance, risk or compliance;
- Highly developed analytical skills and risk management administration;
- Strong MS Excel skills. Some Accounting knowledge would be desirable.
- Experience working within the Financial Services sector is desirable.
