KAEFER Integrated Services are currently taking expressions of interest for upcoming projects in South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial decision making by establishing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures
- Establish, maintain Asset Register and monitor Asset movement
- Track and analyse of weekly / monthly cost vs. budgets/forecast and identify any potential risks
- Prepare and update financial report including budget, forecast and actual data with deviation analysis on project gross margin
- Daily cost tacking to ensure correct WBS/Project used
- Tracking and Reconciliation weekly man-hours to make sure allocated to the correct projects
- Liaising with project team members and external stakeholders with regard to payroll, subcontractor payment and progress claim
- Manage the establishment and maintenance of cost coding system in accordance with the Cost Categories established for the project, the budget and client requirements.
- Ensure all costs and commitments are in accordance with the established Cost Categories.
- Monitor and report the physical progress (work performed) consistent with the cost coding system and in collaboration with the Scheduler/Superintendents.
- Prepare costs for all variations. Prepare the monthly progress report for the Client.
- Prepare weekly progress reports in collaboration with the Scheduler/Superintendents, Cost Control Engineer and other personnel.
- Identify potential slippages in the program and provide support to projects for development of recovery schedules and Extension of Time Claims.
About You
- Degree in Finance
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the same industry.
- Experienced in Cost Control and accounting.
- Able to apply high level of independent judgement and initiative
- Previous experience using SAP desirable.
