Forklift Driver - Cairns
About Role
Toll People in partnership with our client in Carins is currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join their team. This role will suit someone looking for regular employment in a team environment with a commitment to safety. You duties will include loading & unloading trailers as well as unloading containers of General Freight. Work is commencing Monday to Friday from 9am. Your pay rate is $38.81 per hour
Skills & Experience
- Experience operating Counterbalance Forklift
- Current LF Licence required
- Experience in the Warehouse environment
- Reliable and motivated to hit targets
- High level of attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate a forklift to load, move or transport stock within the warehouse and production areas
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Unloading shipping containers
- Staging and organising product of various General Freight
- General Warehouse duties and housekeeping as determined by the Team Leader or Supervisor
- Manual handling as required
- Be a great team player
- Adhere to and maintain a high safety standard
