Course Assistant Superintendent

Kareela Golf Club is seeking a Course Assistant Superintendent– who has the skills and experience to assist the Club achieve its Vision.

Applicants must have appropriate industry qualifications and understand what is required to present a high-quality golf course and can deliver an exceptional playing experience.

The Course Assistant Superintendent should be highly driven and possess exceptional leadership skills and be able to motivate a positive culture and team.

The Club has a management structure and there is no committee, and the successful candidate will report to the Superintendent.

Kareela Golf Club was established in 1969.  located in Sutherland Shire Sydney NSW, and the Course is a par 65 golf course, measuring just over 4,600 metres, features 19 holes.

We will deliver a superior golfing, Member & Social experience so that Players recognise Kareela Golf as a golf club of choice in the Sutherland Shire.

• Work with the Course Superintendent to help promote Member satisfaction through maintaining and presenting a high-quality golf course and surrounds.
• Assist the Superintendent with the maintenance team including, training, development and leadership. This includes the maintenance of a strong culture.
• Assist with the development and Implementation of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) including course standards, Course Enhancement Plan, Landscape Master Plan, EMP (Environmental Management Plan) and Annual Maintenance Plan.
• Thoroughly assist in all WH&S training needs and procedures.
• Produce timely communication to keep key stakeholders updated and well informed when required.
• Continue personal and professional educational through attending self-development, training, and conferences.
• Accept feedback from key and use this information to optimise the day-to-day presentation of the golf course.

Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent benefits package between $75,000K - $85,000K
