Course Coordinator

Role
Are you passionate about academic excellence and student success? Kaplan Professional is on the lookout for a skilled Course Coordinator to take charge of a suite of subjects in our diverse programs. You will be responsible for:

• Academic delivery oversight for various subjects, including HE, VE, non-accredited, and bespoke courses
• Ensure smooth subject operations, adherence to schedules, and maintenance of academic standards
• Lead academic integrity and quality initiatives for an enriching learning experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure all collateral for the delivery of courses has been created and is readily available in appropriate formats for delivery mode/s including platform set-up and quality assurance
• Ensure the smooth running of allocated subjects to ensure a positive student experience and meet internal and external standards
• Provide input to the with the business about new subjects, or changes to existing subjects
• Collect and analyse feedback on subjects from students, practitioners, clients and contribute to strategy recommendations for Content team
• Contribute to specific projects as required
• Contribute ideas to improve student experience and success in collaboration with Head, Academic Operations and Engagement and Manager Academic Operations and Engagement
• Provide support to Student Services and Student Advisers when required and address any specific subject-related concerns.

Requirements

• Experience working in an L&D environment in a Higher Education provider or RTO (essential)
• TAE40116 Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (or upgraded TAE40110) (essential)
• Project management and coordination skills (essential)
• Experience in developing learning resources to enhance students’ experience
• An active interest or qualifications in the Finance/Financial Services industry (including but not limited to the following areas: Financial Planning, Mortgage Broking, Insurance) (desirable)
• A bachelor’s degree (desirable)
