About the role
Due to growth in the business, a unique opportunity has become available for a Course Development Officer. The role will predominately be responsible for the following:
- Development of new courses
- Ongoing maintenance and compliance of existing course material, including formatting of all course material using existing templates/style guides
- Working with Trainer/Assessors and SMEs for Course Development and course administration requirements
- Assist with continuous improvement and validation of all resources
This position would suit someone with experience developing learning and assessment materials or someone with extensive administration/formatting experience who is keen to learn skills in Course Development.
Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have RTO/development experience and the following essential skills:
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent skills in formatting using Microsoft Word
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time management
- Sound communication techniques, both written and oral
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Ability to work well in a small team environment
- Ability to display initiative, problem solve, multitask and adapt to change
Knowledge and qualifications/experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Course Development requirements
- Knowledge of RTO procedures
- Knowledge of RTO compliance requirements
- Diploma of Training Design and Development (or willingness to complete)
