SLS Cranes currently has an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious Crane Service ELECTRICIAN/TECHNICIAN to join our successful team in the Crane Department.
ELECTRICIANQualifications:
- Australian recognised Tradesperson Certificate (WA 'A' Grade Electrical Trade Licence)
- Current WA Driver's Licence (C Class)
- Construction induction card (Blue/White card)
- Working at Heights Certificate
- High Risk Licence - EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
Key Responsibilities:
- Capable of carrying out inspections and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical parts of Overhead Electrical Cranes & Hoists
- Ability to find faulty items and undertake repairs/restore equipment
- Being proactive in bringing areas of attention to the supervisor, once inspecting and servicing cranes
- Have awareness and knowledge of the OHS requirements
- Ability to gather and present job reports/findings in a presentable manner
- Have neat and legible handwriting
Skills Required:
- Capable of interpreting policies, procedures and safety management procedures
- Have an outstanding safety record and ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment
- Provide high-quality customer service at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a good attitude with clients
- Ability to Work at Heights
- Work Overtime, when necessary
- Be available to travel, when necessary
