The Creative Producer position is wide-ranging, and will involve client account management, production planning and logistics, creative direction and people management.
It will include developing close relationships with internal staff, external clients, contractors, crew and talent, including being the key contact and creative driver of projects from start to finish.
You will also be creative lead on set for shoots, which could include conducting interviews, managing crew and talent, and working closely with directors to execute their vision.
On any given day you might be organising and planning shoot logistics, responding to briefs, meeting with clients/talent, managing post-production as the key client contact, be on set running shoots of various sizes, coordinating shoot travel, or developing new concepts for various projects.
This role will report directly to Hustle Media’s co-founders, and our vision is the role will grow in responsibility and management as the business grows.
What we’re looking for:
We’d love for this role to go to someone with producing experience, but it’s not critical - as long as you fit the description below and are passionate about the work we do, you could be the right fit.
This role is for a self-starter, who has the ability to make things happen. We want someone who will jump into ownership of projects and be excited to bring them to life.
You need to be a great communicator, both written and verbal, and be organised and detail-oriented to keep track of multiple projects at once, and overlapping deadlines.
You’ll have great people management and negotiation skills - you’ll be able to confidently get the best out of crew, talent and clients, often in fast-paced environments.
Curiosity will be essential - you need to be interested in people and their stories, and always looking for new ways to tell them.
You’ll be keen to flex your creative muscles by contributing to briefs, turning ideas into reality, and collaborating with our team to make this happen.

Hustle Media is a Sydney-based production company that specialises in commercial and documentary storytelling, across a range of sport, entertainment, non-profit and corporate industries.
We are growing and need to expand our team to continue making videos at a high standard for our existing clients; bring in new clients; and develop long-form film and television projects.
We’re a small business with an unusual structure - we have a small team of full time staff including dedicated shooters/editors, and producers who shepherd our projects from ideation through to post-production.
Salary:
Dependent on experience and suitability.
