We are looking for an experienced and results oriented Credit Assessor to join our results driven credit team on a permanent, full time basis.
As a Credit Assessor you will work alongside our professional team of sales and lending staff and closely with external stakeholders (such as our AFG Brokers, settlement agencies and lending partners) actively completing end to end home loan applications. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth Home Loan credit approval process which contributes to our business growth whilst minimising our risk exposure.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a self-starter who thrives on the challenge of innovation and a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this role, you will possess;
- Minimum 2 years credit assessment experience outside of a decision tool environment
- Ability to understand and articulate credit risk appetite in a fluctuating credit market
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure whilst delivering a high standard of customer service
- Previously held and exercised DLA
- The ability to work to within tight timeframes
- Previous experience in dealing with mortgage brokers is desirable but not essential
