Our client is a leading national company with a great reputation in the marketplace, a leader in their field. Based in Revesby with free parking on site, my client is currently looking to hire a Credit Controller for a 6 month Fixed Term Contact for a maternity leave cover. This role will focus on collections and offers flexibility to WFH 2 days per week once you're trained.
The Role
In this position you be reporting directly into the Credit Manager and will working in a full function role.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Full function credit control & collections managing your own ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- Processing debt credit notes
- Cheque/EFT payments for debtor refunds
- Assist in month end reporting and debtor write offs
- Process reports for journal sign offs
- Process new registrations
- Monitor the status of individual credit accounts so that problem debts can be quickly identified
- Assist in any project work that may arise
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:
- At least 2 years prior credit & collections experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong Excel skills - v look ups & pivot tables
- Ability to work in a professional environment with a range of different people
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
