As one of the established and renowned organizations, my client is looking for an experiencedCredit Controller to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a permanent part time opportunity (3 days per week).
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, you must have great knowledge and exposure within collections, not required to raise invoices:
- Check customer credit ratings and set up credit accounts
- Monitor and manage the credit control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through financial analysis, credit checks and payment history review
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize late or non-payment by customers, including initiating collection actions and negotiating payment plans
- Looking after collections duties for major operating businesses
- Perform credit checks
- Liaise with clients to rectify and verify necessary information
- Ability to build and maintain great relationship with clients
- Upload debtors details
- Perform GL into SAP and MYOB
- Ad-hoc administration tasks as required
Ideal Profile
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
- Cert IV,Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within credit and accounts receivable environment
- Must have great exposure to collections duties
- Experience in large Accounting ERP system - SAP and MYOB highly desirable
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Benefits
- Permanent part time position - 3 days per week
- $70,000 - $80,000 + Super (Prorated)
- To be based in the office, no work from home flexibility
