As BlueScope continues to grow as a business we will continue to strengthen our commercial team by looking to bring new capabilities into the function.This exciting role will offer variety and scope for a self-motivated, quick thinker and an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a dynamic workplace. In this role where you will manage debtors accounts, you will minimise overdue and high-risk debts whilst delivering a high-quality customer experience. As your client base will be in Western Australia, the hours of this role will be 10am till 6:30pm if located in SA or 10:30 to 7pm if located in VIC (this will be adjusted to suit daylight savings time difference). You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team who have a continuous improvement focus. You will receive a competitive remuneration package and additional benefits such as attractive 14% superannuation options and a profit share plan (annual bonus), hybrid working arrangements, and access to various health and wellbeing initiatives.What Will You Do?In this exciting opportunity, you will: proactively manage customer accounts within agreed terms and approved limitsengage with sales team to proactively manage customer outcomes actively manage and provide timely escalation of customer claim deductions provide detailed analysis, support and proactive engagement to correct and resolve Trade Debtor delinquent performers develop reporting to show Year on Year and Month on Month results against forecast for your customer portfolio introduce measures to return customers to correct trade terms establish close working relationships with all members of the credit team and other key internal staff and external customers More About YouAs an experienced Credit Controller with excellent relationship-building skills, you will bring: a high attention to detail and time management skills experience working in a high-volume role proficiency in performing reconciliationssound skills in Excel and SAP or a similar ERP systemWhy BlueScopeAs BlueScope continues to go from strength to strength, a career with us provides you with the opportunity to grow and be rewarded.
