Your role in the team
You, like us, understand the importance of collaboration and are driven to be the best in what you do! Working closely with other departments, your role will require you to ensure client's funding and withdrawals occur smoothly, to and from their trading account. This is a middle office role that would require you to occasionally respond to queries and requests from clients and to do so, you will have to keep up to date with Compliance regulations.
You’re upbeat and enthusiastic, and you have an open mind and a curious, can-do attitude which will see you fit right into the Team.
What you’ll do
- Reviews and approvals of client account classification, types and limits
- Signing off payments to clients & approving temporary credit to clients
- Monitoring client’s margin calls and contacting clients where necessary.
- Debt recovery (negotiating payment plans, liaising with solicitors)
- Auditing and Reporting on internal credit process as needed.
- Authorising Corporate, High risk and multiple accounts
- Liaising with members of IG’s Premium Client Managers & Trading Services Teams globally
- Become an internal subject matter expert to support our client facing staff and other Payment Operation teams, including Client Money
- Regulation and enforcement of IG’s strict anti-money laundering controls
- Ability to efficiently accomplish tasks simultaneously while demonstrating a thorough concern for areas involved.

What you’ll need for this role
Although desirable, you don't need a background in finance to apply. We'll provide on-the-job training and support to help ensure you quickly pick up the necessary knowledge and understanding.
What you will need is a genuine interest in working in financial markets, along with motivation levels as impressive as your aptitude for numbers and attention to detail – plus:
- A degree-level education
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- To be able to establish rapport with people of all status and background
- A logical and analytical approach
- Very good organisation and time management skills
- Literacy in MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
