As part of our continual organisational growth and expansion, Bethesda Health Care, a values-based organisation with an enviable reputation for personalised and high-quality patient care, has an exciting opportunity for a CSSD Technician to join the Perioperative Services team.
Reporting to the CSSD Supervisor and Perioperative Services Manager (POSM).
The purpose of the position is to provide high-quality decontamination, packing and sterilising of all reusable instruments and equipment for use by the Operating Theatres and Wards, adhering to the AS/NZS4187 standards and IFUs (instructions for use).
Essential Criteria:
- Comprehensive knowledge of multidisciplinary medical terminology
- Knowledge of OSH legislation and requirements
- EEO practices and principles
- Knowledge of AS/NZS4187
- Experience working in a hospital CSSD department.
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current Police Check (no more than six months old)
