About the Role:
As the Central Sterilisation Store Department (CSSD) Technician, you will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs. Hours and days are flexible.
Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
Support the Director of Nursing and other team members in managing resources
Manage documentation
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across all areas of the hospital
About You:
You have a genuine passion for healthcare, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
A Certificate IV in Sterilising Services
Knowledge of AS4187 standards and infection control guidelines is essential.
Demonstrated passion for patients and healthcare
Proven experience in opthomology, dental, plastics, orthopaedics, interventional pain
Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
