Devonport’s Maritime Museum, the Bass Strait Maritime Centre (BSMC) is a hub of maritime history, knowledge, and culture situated in the heart of Devonport, Tasmania. Our mission is to preserve and showcase the rich maritime heritage of our region, ensuring that the stories and artifacts of our past continue to inspire and educate present and future generations.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team part-time as the Curator of Collections and Engagement. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the strategic management and development of BSMC’s collections and archives, while also leading initiatives to engage and enrich the visitor experience in alignment with our core mission.
