As a TasWater Customer Assistance Officer, you’ll ensure customers experiencing financial hardship feel supported and are provided with accurate and timely advice, relating to their TasWater account.
Your day will involve:
- Managing inbound and outbound calls to customers to discuss overdue bills,
- Process receipting files and action customer payments,
- Use guidelines to assist in the negotiation of payment plans,
- Provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.
So, ifyou:
- Are a friendly, customer service professional, who enjoys working with a range of software,
- Can demonstrate an ability to produce good quality work outputs, with a data accuracy focus,
- Care about quality customer service, quality advice and positive engagement with the community,
- Are able to learn and adapt to technology and digital programs,
- And can follow procedures and regulations.

This full-time position can provide flexibility by way of start/finish time, along with a salary package of $74 - 82K per annum (including superannuation).
This position has a maximum term end date of August 2024 and can be located in our Steele Street, Devonport or Charles Street, Launceston offices.
