Role Summary: The Customer Billing Operations Lead is an exciting opportunity in our Customer Billing & Metering team based at our Perth CBD offices. Leading the Customer Billing Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the frontline billing delivery teams are supported with the right capability to execute the optimum billing customer experience. Key responsibilities of the role include: Lead, mentor and coach the Customer Billing Operations team Identify and deliver opportunities in the billing and metering function to support Synergy’s most vulnerable customers. Manage all billing related operations both internally and with our strategic partners. Collaborating with key stakeholders throughout Synergy focussed on delivering value for Synergy and our Customers. Build a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes. What you’ll bring: 2 years’ experience leading a team and/or Operations Management 5 years’ experience in high volume customer support / service operations Ability to build, maintain and influence strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Tertiary qualifications in a People leadership, Business, Commerce or similar will be highly regarded. Working experience in Energy, or other Utility industries is preferred but not essential.
