About the Role
The Shire of Esperance is looking for a motivated individual to join our External Services team in the role of Customer Experience Officer. The position is responsible for providing quality administrative service and is the primary point of contact for the External Services directorate, ensuring a high degree of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide administrative support within multiple business areas of External Services including Ranger Services, Events, Emergency Services, Cemetery, Trader’s, Small Business, Planning, Building and Environmental Health
- Prepare and submit monthly statistical reports in the functional areas of Planning, Building, and Environmental Health
- Process, create and maintain high quality electronic records within the Shire’s application registers for all applications made to External Services
- Assist with developing corporate policies and procedures to support continuous quality improvement
About You
To be successful and thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administration or secretarial role
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including letter writing and report writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and be adaptable
- Developed customer service and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail.
Benefits
Salary: $65,362.00 - $68,053.00 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
