As a specialist in commercial finance, you'll take ownership of retail gross margin planning and forecasting, providing invaluable insights that inform key decisions and mitigate risks. About the Role

As our Customer Finance Lead you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide financial/commercial advice and direction supporting the Customer business unit to ensure integrity of financial results for our Customer division
  • Lead and contribute towards delivery of the monthly gross margin latest financial forecast process through working with the Customer Finance Partner, Customer Finance Leads, the broader Customer business, TTR Finance and the Group Planning & Reporting team.
  • Review and Challenge initiatives within the Business Unit to ensure that business decisions are made with a clear understanding of likely financial outcomes.
  • Lead and contribute towards delivery of the monthly gross margin latest financial forecast process through working with the Customer Finance Partner, Customer Finance Leads, the broader Customer business, TTR Finance and the Group Planning & Reporting team.
  • Build strong relationships with, and knowledge of the operations of, the Revenue and Network assurance activities, acquisition and retention activities, pricing and any other gross margin projects.

How can you support the Clean Energy Transition

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, economics or another relevant quantitative degree (minimum)
  • Post graduate qualifications in accounting and/or finance holding current CA/CPA qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years experience in finance, including previous commercial finance and/or planning and/or reporting roles
  • Experience in retail energy an advantage or experience in banking, telecommunications or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective communications skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
