About the role:

Join us in this 9-10 month max term contract and support our Brisbane Distribution Centre Transition Project.

Based at our Docklands head office, we're seeking a DC Transition System Support Lead specific to our new Brisbane Distribution Facility. In this role, you will be pivotal in building and managing a robust inventory plan to ensure we have the right inventory, at the right place, at the right time.

You will be responsible for conducting inventory modeling to support decision-making in the relocation of our distribution center, collaborating with key project stakeholders, and developing replenishment policies to facilitate a smooth transition. Your expertise will help us anticipate potential risks, adapt to business needs, and ensure the successful setup of our new DC location.

This is a max term contract opportunity for 9-10 months based on a project completion date of late March 2025.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct inventory modeling to support decision-making in relocating a DC.
  • Collaborate with Supply Inbound Hub, Demand Planners, Replenishment Teams, Supply Chain, and Project Leads to optimize demand forecasting, order placement, and inbound capacity management.
  • Develop replenishment policies and configure system settings for a smooth transition of stock across old and new sites.
  • Anticipate potential risks, incorporating checks and processes for ongoing review, and adapt solutions based on business needs.
  • Take a hands-on approach during the project delivery period to ensure successful implementation and rapid resolution of challenges.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Demand Planning role
  • Experience with inventory IT systems (SAP and Manhattan preferred)
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving Change Management (experience of transitioning demand plans between DC sites would be ideal)
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, knowledge and experience to identify problems and proactively develop solutions
  • Strong relationship management skills with excellent written and verbal communication and ability to influence cross-functionally
