An exciting opportunity has become available in our Information Services team for a Customer Relations Officer on a full-time basis for a 6-month fixed term contract.
In this role, the successful applicant will work to to always provide a high standard of customer service and perform other relevant duties in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. Uphold and consistently demonstrate the City's values of Respect, Integrity, Customer Service and Team Work.
This diverse and dynamic role is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service to the city’s external and internal customers via the front counter and switchboard.
- Creating and monitoring customer service requests.
- Processing and registering City communications.
- Processing various payments into the City’s accounting system.
- Preparing standard correspondence and documents.
- Assisting with entering data into the City’s computer systems.
The requirements of the role include:
- Well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and communications skills
- Previous experience in using a customer request management (CRM) system within a customer service environment.
- Experience in cashiering.
- Ability to adapt to using different software applications.
- Ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $70,880 to $78,280 plus 11% employer superannuation and additional co-contribution to your superannuation.
