We are looking for friendly, motivated and knowledgeable individuals to join our Casual Pool as a Customer Relations Officer based at our Administration Centre in Kalamunda. Working with a small and friendly team, this position offers varied work in a challenging and rewarding environment which includes on-the-job training.
About the City of Kalamunda
The City of Kalamunda is a local authority with a population of 60,000 located approximately a 35 minute drive from the Perth CBD providing the opportunity to work in a varied planning environment, from rural natural bushland to highly developed residential, commercial and industrial areas.
About You
The successful candidates will be:
- Friendly and approachable
- Confident speaking to members of the public and able to provide advice and information in person, over the phone, or in writing
- Dedicated to excellence in customer service, be a team player, eager to learn new skills, and highly adaptable
- Proficient working with information systems and Microsoft Office

- Demonstrated customer service experience (on the job training will be provided).
- The ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction in an environment with high work volume and competing client priorities.

Employment Conditions
This is a casual position, and the hours of work will be between 8.15am and 5.15pm Monday through to Friday. The days of work will be mutually negotiated and reflected in a roster system and on an ‘as available’ basis.
The hourly rate offered is $35.91 which is inclusive of 25% casual loading. As a casual appointment this position will not accrue annual leave or personal leave.
