The Town of Claremont is a progressive local government that was established in 1898 for the picturesque riverside suburbs of Claremont and Swanbourne. The Town is seeking an experienced Customer Relations extraordinaire to join a passionate museum team within the idyllic environment of beautiful leafy surroundings and Swan River views. The fourteen-month contract position consists of 19 total fixed hours per week:
- 7.25 hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays,
- 4.5 hours on Sundays
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Meet and greet visitors.
- Respond to enquires as per the Town Customer Experience Charter.
- Provide administrative support including related to the operation of the Museum such as sending emails, sourcing quotes for items and preparing purchase orders.
- Document museum attendance, bookings and feedback.
- Assist the Museum’s Curator with collection management, donations, data entry and the preparation of exhibitions.
