We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Relations Officer to provide effective and efficient customer services to the City of Kalamunda’s customers.

The City of Kalamunda is a local authority with a population of 60,000 located approximately a 35 minute drive from the Perth CBD providing the opportunity to work in a varied planning environment, from rural natural bushland to highly developed residential, commercial and industrial areas.
About this Opportunity
This position is responsible for providing high levels of customer service by assisting with customer enquiries at the Front Counter of our Administration Centre. Reporting to the Customer Relations Team Leader, some of the duties of this role include:
- Deal directly, effectively and promptly with a wide range of customers in a sensitive manner.
- Develop and monitor customer service policies and standards.
- Provide resolutions to customer complaints and offer innovative suggestions, review periodically team operations and functions, suggest improvements to internal members of staff which will continually improve external Customer Relations.
- Respond to customer requests and complaints in a timely manner.
- Foster positive communication processes throughout the organisation and to external customers.
- Process and receipt monies.
- Provide clerical support.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated customer service experience (on the job training will be provided).
- The ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction in an environment with high work volume and competing client priorities.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours a fortnight, with the option for a fortnightly or monthly rostered day off. Part-time job share will be considered.
About the Benefits
This position offers a salary of Level 4 being $72,285.74 - $77,017.66 per annum (depending on experience and skill level) plus superannuation. Pro rata if part-time. Other benefits are annual salary increments and EBA increases each year, a generous superannuation co-contribution scheme and accrued annual leave which attracts an additional 17.5% leave loading and personal leave.
